We are the “Center for The Ugandan American Muslim Community ” hereinafter referred to as “CUAMC” and/or “the Organization” interchangeably. CUAMC is a non-profit organization. CUAMC is non-profit organization registered in the State of Maryland.
Our mission
Committed to serving the Umma and building Islmaic Community Centers in USA and around the globe.
The principal office of the Organization shall be at 3402 Captain Wendell Pruitt Way, Fort Washington, Maryland 20744, provided that the Board of Directors shall have the power to change the location of the principal office. The principal office is hereinafter referred to as the “Islamic Community Center.”
In conducting functions and affairs, the Organization abides by the rules of the Qur’an (Revelation from Almighty Allah to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Sunnah (teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and their interpretation according to the Ahl-Assunnah wal Jamaa’ah (the mainstream Sunni Muslim community
